Microsoft updates do not install and every time I switch off it keeps trying - see below for ones that fail:-?

Reply:if you havent confirmed your windows are genuine the updates will not install...if no luck after confirming your windows genuine uninstall all the security updates from add/remove programs and try installing the updates again

Reply:I had the same problem,but i got them installed using Tuneup Utilities 2008,solve problems%26gt; windows updates will not update%26gt;click repair ,i don't know what this program done but it repaired windows updates and they installed successfully
Reply:his problem is hes missing dlls that installs some updates





this is what you have to do il give you the list of dlls your missing, you have to click start, press on run, then copy and paste each dll on there and press enter after each one. if successfull it wil tell you dll was successfull or launched( i dont know the exact messege) well here is the list of dlls, do them in order please

Reply:Your Office updates are failing including several that you actually want. Make sure that your "Office Source Engine" service is running and try the updates again.
Reply:I had a similar problem, the only way I overcame it was to go back to factory settings. The whole lot downloaded within minutes. Good Luck.
Reply:It could be mabye you have a illegal/non-genuine version of Microsoft Office and they have block you from updating.
