Microsoft office 2007 enterprise problem??

I am fairly new to working with computers, so I have a question I hope someone can please answer for me. I have 2 personal computers, 1 at my moms and 1 at my dads house. I just started college and needed microsoft office 2007 enterprise to open up files for my online class. So, I downloaded microsoft office 2007 enterprise to both computers, my brother has now told me this is illegal?? I can't do anything on the 2nd computer I installed microsoft office on without a dialogue box popping up and saying windows installer... preparing to install... and then doesnt do anything. I try to cancel and it won't. There is a picture of a computer and a disc underneath in this "box". I've been told I have to uninstall everything?? Is there any other way? I've tried to uninstall Microsoft office 2007 enterprise, but it won't? The dialogue box pops up any time I try to do anything, connect to the internet or anything at all. I mostly work on the computer at my moms, just want other back to normal

Microsoft office 2007 enterprise problem??
It keeps popping up because the extensions of the program are still stored.

You can uninstall it from the Control Panel (Start%26gt;Settings%26gt;Control Panel). Double click the "Add/Remove" programs and select MS Office from the list and remove it.

Afterwards, go into your program files through your C drive and delete the program folder.

If you need any assistance, dont be afraid to let me know.

Reply:If you downloaded the trial version that's legal. If you downloaded the full version then you have broken the law, and there's a good chance you've infected the computers with a virus, trojan, keylogger or other malware (and if you're caught the fine is up to $150,000.00 per copy). The irony is that practically every college offers MS Office to students at a steep discount - I believe it's about $25 at my school. Check with the people who work at the campus computer lab or the IT department to see if your school offers it.
