Microsoft Word 2003 help?

I have windows xp and Microsoft word 2003 installed on my computer. I recently made a new user name, and whenever I log on to that user name and attempt to use Microsoft word, this window pops up and it says "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003," and it just stalls and never opens sometimes, especially when I attempt to download a .doc file off the internet and open it. The strange thing is that on the other username it works fine. Please help!

i used to have that problem.....just wait until it finishes configuring.....


if it doesn't work, just click on cancel.....
