i wanted to type up a paper so i pulled up microsoft word and for someweird reason it wanted the code thing thats on the back on the cd case so i looked for it but i can't find it so i closed out of the thing and tried to use microsoft word and it wouldn't let me... can someone give me a code for microsoft word to i can use it? would it work?

No it wouldn't. That "code thing" is unique to every installation.
Reply:That's your license. You need your license to use Word. Eventually if you start Word 25 times then your Word program becomes a viewer. Look on the back of the Word CD case and you should find it. No one's probably going to give you theirs.
P.S. This sometimes happens with pirate copies of Word.
