Microsoft Word Product Key help?

i have 2 computers :: an old and a new one


the old one has microsoft word


and the new one doesn't


i lost the microsoft word product key (%26amp; couldn't find it)


CAN I LOCATE THE PRODUCT KEY IN MICROSOFT WORD FROM MY OLD COMPUTER AND TAKE THE PRODUCT KEY AND TRANSFER IT ON THE NEW COMPUTER


I brought the CD %26amp; lost it :(

Microsoft Word Product Key help?
If you lost your key, and your product is registered properly with Microsoft, you should be able to contact them in regards to the missing key, and they can give you a new one.





In the event that you can't get your key back, don't want to risk any illegal cracker programs, and still really need a good Word-esque program, I personally recommend OpenOffice. It does everything that Microsoft Word and Office does, but it's legally free. It's a great alternative if you don't want to shovel a pocketload of cash to Microsoft for more of their products.





And the program is even Vista compatible, which is a rarity for anything anymore.

However, using Office on those two computers might break the EULA depending on which version you have. (Though I'm sure Microsoft doesn't really care)
